Devs’ can now download and start developing with the software development kit (SDK) for version 1.6 of Google’s mobile operating system Android.
Android 1.6, known as Donut, adds support for CDMA and more screen resolutions plus other features. Donut has a redesigned search framework for users to search across multiple sources such as browser bookmark, contacts and the Web. Searches can be done via the home screen. The user interface offers an integrated camera and a faster camera experience. Also featured is a battery usage screen indicating which applications and services are consuming power. Android 1.6 SDK is available for download.
