Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL running Windows 10 is now available in India

In early October, Microsoft unveiled the new Flagship Lumia devices, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL which is powered with Windows 10. There has been a lot of emphasis on the Continuum, which enables your phone to be a PC. Microsoft had also shared a vision for universal apps and how that would bring in an unified experience across the devices running Windows 10. There were announcements about Facebook and Uber already working on the universal app.

Today at an event, Microsoft India announced the availability of the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL in the country. They will be available at 43699 INR and 49399 INR respectively. Both these devices will offer the dual sim variants in India. These devices will be available for pre-order starting Dec 1st, tomorrow through priority stores, Sangeetha and Microsoft Store. They are also available on Amazon India store here (Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL). On a pre-order, you will get the Display Dock free worth 5999. Again, as long as stocks last.

Like Satya said earlier this year, this phone is primarily made for the Windows Fans. People who are still looking to move from Android or iOS will still want to wait until universal apps are available.
