Hi Vivek, This guide helps in creating an application patch. (ie., MSP for MSI). We can create patches and bundle it into a setup patch.

Microsoft Updates(patches) are built in a little different way., as it needs to replace the proteected files/registries (many a times). I will let you know on how to create a microsoft update patch. These patches are usually the monthly KB updates which we get from Microsoft.
